The style of this newly converted Lincolnshire limestone barn is old-meets-new and this has been replicated in the kitchen. Plain shaker in-frame cabinets wrap around a contemporary handleless island. Oak detailing and the leathered ‘Angolan Silver’ granite worktop bring the two styles together. A large section of the central island has been topped with oak to provide a generous preparation area. The island is made up of pan drawers which seamlessly wrap around two sides and create a striking detail. Along the back wall sits a bank of tall cabinets which house Neff ‘Slide & Hide’ appliances. The colour scheme has been designed specifically to add warmth to this light and airy room. The island has been painted in Farrow & Ball ‘Brinjal’ which is complimented beautifully with the oak. The tall cabinets have been painted in Farrow & Ball ‘Charleston Gray’ and the remaining cabinets in Farrow & Ball ‘Skimming Stone’. The glass splash back has been painted in Farrow & Ball ‘Charleston Gray’.
